Veteran newspaperman Tim Timmons is the new publisher for The Freestone Co. Recorder-Chronicle, as well as other Central Texas papers owned by Moser Community Media.
This will be the second time Timmons has worked in the Lone Star state. Early in his career he was the sports editor at the Odessa American.
“We are excited to have Tim over this group of Central Texas papers,” stated owner Jim Moser. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and many years of successful media management experience to the table. Our goal is to put out a quality news product for our communities, and I know Tim will do just that.”
