TISD Approves Staff Pay Raise

The Teague ISD Board of Trustees approved a pay raise for staff members at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 24.

Teachers and counselors entering their fourth or fifth year will receive a $4,000 increase from last year’s salary. Teachers and counselors entering their sixth year or above will receive an $8,000 increase from last year’s salary.

All auxiliary employees, including food service staff, paraprofessionals, ad- ministrative assistants, custodians, and daycare assistants will receive a 10% increase. All other employees may be eligible for a 3% increase.
