The Wortham City Council moved forward with a plan to strengthen code enforcement at the Tuesday, July 8 meeting.
The council met in executive session before voting to expand the city prosecutor’s consulting and prosecutorial duties on code enforcement with Wortham, according to City Secretary Tonya Rissmiller.
The council has discussed the need for better enforcement of the city’s code ordinances in previous meetings.
