On Saturday, July 12, Freestone County Sheriff Office Lt. Darby, Sgt. Hill, and Sgt. Dollar, along with Deputies Pickens and Fogle, executed a search and an arrest warrant at a residence in Dew. The search warrant came after a lengthy investigation into a burglary of a habitation that occurred in the Dew area in June.
During the course of executing the search warrant Deputies were able to recover a vast majority of the items that were stolen during the burglary. Two subjects were arrested while on scene.
A male subject was arrested for the following: 1.) Warrant: Credit/Debit Card Abuse-State Jail felony, 2.) Fraudulent Possession/Use of Identifying Information more than 10 items less than 50 items - 2nd Degree Felony.
