The Fairfield Eagles will be hitting the field Monday morning, August 4, to start the new season. A team meeting will be held at 6:30 a.m. Practice will be held from 7:00 a..m. - 9:30 a.m.
“I’m very excited about the upcoming football season,” Head Football Coach John Bachtel said. “We have had a great turnout this summer. We are averaging almost 80 high school kids a day. This is the most we have ever had.”
When asked what his goal was for this season, Bachtel said, “Our goal is to get better each day. We are hoping to improve on last year’s season. We have a lot of experience coming back.”
