Cathy Reeves is coming back to the court and the classroom after being retired for the past two years to coach the Fairfield Lady Eagles volleyball team. This will be her 40th year in education and 39th year of coaching volleyball. She will be teaching English III and English IV at Fairfield High School as well.
“I am so proud to be a part of the Fairfield family,” Reeves said. “I don’t know how to do anything other than everything I can when given the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students and athletes.”
She grew up in Waco and has also lived in the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth area. Reeves graduated from Baylor University where she studied Secondary Education with a focus in English. She has been an educator and coach at Channelview, Mayde Creek, Robinson, Timber Creek, and Madisonville.
