Abby Snider and Cayman Elliott attended the Junior National Young Leaders Conference July 28 - August 1 at The University of Maryland in Washington D.C.
The program taught leadership as well as teamwork skills through speakers and mock elections. They also got to tour some of the most historic sites in the Nation including the White House, Capitol Building, Floor of Congress, Mount Vernon, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam War Memorial.
Snider said that her favorite part of the trip was getting to see all of the amazing places and monuments.
