The Teague Lions scrimmaged the Hillsboro Eagles in a scrimmage on Friday night, Aug. 15.
“I thought we had a good scrimmage and got what we needed to get out of it,” Head Coach Zachary Linscomb said. “Our energy and effort were there, we just have plenty of techniques and execution type things to work on. I thought we got a lot of reps for our younger guys which has allowed our staff to evaluate them a lot better.”
On the defensive side, the Lions only gave up one score and it was on a busted coverage on the last play of a series. Teague also caused several turnovers throughout the scrimmage.
