Teague ISD Accountability Rating Update

Teague ISD is proud to announce that our district has earned an 84 rating on the Texas Accountability Rating System. For several years, Teague ISD has consistently maintained A and B ratings, a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and community.

In addition, our campuses earned 8 Distinction Designations, which places us in the top 25% of comparison campuses across the state. This is an achievement we value highly, and we could not be prouder of our teachers, administrators, students, and parents for their commitment and effort.

Several years ago, after receiving an A rating, our team of eight, which includes our school board and superintendent, made the intentional decision not to chase scores at the expense of student and staff well-being. We recognized the risks of creating toxic productivity and, instead, chose to protect the culture that makes Teague ISD special: a student-centered, supportive, and familyfriendly environment. Scores are important, but they are not the complete story of a thriving school community.
