Fairfield Approves Patton to Attend Police Academy

Seth Patton was approved by the Fairfield City Council to attend the Police Academy at Navarro College at its Aug. 12 meeting. Patton will start the program Aug. 25 and will graduate in Jan. 2026. Patton has served in the National Guard as well.

Fairfield Police Department Assistant Chief Albert Gallegos noted that the K9 for the Fairfield Police Department is still in training with hopes that it will be with the department in Sept.

Gallegos also reported that the Fairfield Police Department received a grant totaling $123,000 for six laptops and four license plate readers.
