The Teague Lions traveled to Scurry to take on the Wildcats in a scrimmage on Thursday night, Aug. 21.
“The scrimmage went well,” Coach Zachary Linscomb said. “I thought we had marked improvement in execution and got what we needed to get out of it.”
According to Linscomb, the Lion defense created numerous turnovers and the offense did a great job of establishing the run and then capitalizing on what it opened up in the passing game for the Teague.
