The 2013 Fairfield High School football team was honored on Friday night, Sept. 13, during halftime of the homecoming football game.
The team brought home the 2013 runner-up Conference 3A Division II trophy. They fell to Argyle 38-33 in the state championship.
“It was awesome honoring the 2013 team. They were incredible football players and even better young men,” Fairfield Coach John Bachtel said. “We got to see some of them this weekend and it was great remembering that season. It was great catching up with what they are doing now that they are adulting. The best part about those guys is that we will have that bond for the rest of our lives.”
