The Teague Lady Lions went 1-1- this past week defeating Wortham and falling to Riesel.
“Our season is going pretty good,” Coach Ashley Hiles said. “We finished first last weekend in the Hudson tournament; sweeping 2-0 Colmesneil, Newton, Hudson, Jasper, Diboll, and Chester in the championship match. We didn’t lose a single set.”
Teague traveled to Wortham on Tuesday night. Sept. 2, and brought home the win in four sets. The Lady Lions took a 25-13 win in the first set as the Lady Bulldogs won the second set 25-20. Teague won the next two sets 2517 and 25-21 for the road win.
