Pausing to Remember: September 11, 2001

This week, we’re stepping back from politics to remember September 11, 2001. That morning started like any other, and then everything changed. Fear, confusion, and heartbreak swept across the nation. And yet, in the midst of it, Americans acted with incredible courage—heroic first responders running toward danger, neighbors helping neighbors, strangers stepping up to help one another.

I remember the week that followed. Churches were full, people were leaning on God and on each other. Communities came together. It was a week filled with grief, but also with moments that reminded us of the strength and goodness that can shine even in the darkest times.

This week, let’s pause and pray. Pray for the families still carrying the loss of loved ones. Thank God for the heroes He raised up that day. Pray for the resilience of our nation, that we would continue to hold onto hope, compassion, and unity.
