Citizens Enjoy Viewing 116 Entries
The Freestone County Courthouse was the place to be on Saturday, Sept. 6, as the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce hosted its 27th Annual Show of Wheels. There were a total of 116 entries this year.
Best in Show and $500 went to Sonny Bennett with his 1966 Chevy II Nova SS. The Best Ford Motor Company entry went to a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang owned by Jim Hay. Karla Keaton’s 1967 Chevy C10 won the Best General Motors entry. The Best Mopar entry went to David Crundwell’s 1931 Chrysler Coupe. The Club Participation Award and $150 went to Gypsy MC International.
