Today is September 11, a day that will never be forgotten in history. I still recall that I was in my seventh grade journalism class that morning when we started getting the news about the plane hitting the World Trade Center. I remember watching the news throughout the school day and when I got home. I remember thinking… how in the world could something like this happen. My prayers go out to all of those who were affected 24 years ago on September 11.
It’s getting very busy again. I feel like there isn’t enough time in the day sometimes. District play in volleyball began on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Santa will be coming to Fairfield on Saturday, Sept. 27, for the annual Breakfast with Santa hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the green barn.
