The Teague Lady Lions defeated Westwood and fell to Fairfield this past week to go 1-1 in district play.
Teague hosted the Westwood Lady Panthers on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The Lady Lions won the first two sets 25-22 and 25-15 before the Lady Panthers came back with 25-20 and 25-23 wins to force a fifth set. Teague dominated Westwood 15-4 in the final set for the victory.
“I was extremely proud of them for not giving up and finishing that fifth set strong,” Coach Ashley Hiles said.
