The Fairfield Lady Eagles defeated Mexia and Teague this past week to start district play 2-0.
“Starting off 2-0 is a big confidence booster as we pursue our goal of a district championship,” Coach Cathy Reeves. “I am proud of the girls for fighting through slow starts in both matches and finding a way to finish strong.”
The Lady Eagles traveled to Mexia on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and knocked-off the Lady Cats in three straight sets 2516, 25-13, and 25-6.
