This week’s article will be considerably shorter than usual, but it contains significant news for Wednesday. Fall has officially arrived, bringing noticeably cooler mornings. We could use some rain, but I’m sure it will come in time. Attendance is still down as we have many people out for various reasons. However, we are enjoying the fall decorations and new tablecloths, which definitely brighten up the room.
I want to extend my gratitude to our Meals on Wheels drivers who have consistently covered for others’ absences on Route 1 and Route 2 while we missed Mike last week. We are certainly glad to have him back as of Monday, the 22nd. Special thanks to Brenda and Debbie McDonald for their help in the dining room.
On Wednesday, we once again enjoyed bingo. A very special sponsor, Brandi Rhodes, had the honor of calling and sponsoring our bingo games with some truly great gifts. She does an excellent job and is always willing to help in any area when she is here.
