The City of Teague Board of Aldermen approved the 2025-2026 city budget at their monthly meeting on Monday, Sept. 15. The board also adopted the city ad valorem tax rate of $0.543805. Mayor James Monks was not present. Mayor Pro Tem Timothy Campbell presided over the meeting. All council members were present.
Trick or Treating for the City of Teague has been changed to Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. due to the football game on Friday night, Oct. 31.
The board tabled the replat of Parcel ID 24238 in the I.G. King Addition, Block2, Lot 1, and Partial Lot 2 to subdivide the plat into three tracks. The council had questions and the owner of the property was not present to answer them.
