The Fairfield Lady Eagles went 2-0 this past week defeating Groesbeck and Elkhart. The Lady Eagles move to 23-6 on the season and 5-0 in district play “I am proud of my girls for setting and meeting goals as they prepare for every district game we play. We are focusing on one game at a time and one opponent at a time,” Coach Cathy Reeves said. “We want to be better tomorrow than we were yesterday. I am trying to get them to remain focused on each day and to not look too far ahead. If we do that, the wins will take care of themselves.”
The Lady Eagles hosted Groesbeck on Tuesday night, Sept. 23, and defeated the Lady Goats in three straight 25-14, 25-11, and 25-15.
Fairfield played Elkhart for Homecoming on Friday afternoon, Sept. 26. The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Elks 25-22,25-11, and 25-18 to remain undefeated in district play.
