The Teague Lady Lions defeated Mexia and Groesbeck this past week to move to 4-1 in district play. Teague is currently in second place in district play behind Fairfield.
On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Lady Lions traveled to Mexia and defeated the Lady Cats in three straight sets 25-23, 25-12, and 25-10.
Teague traveled to Groesbeck on Friday, Sept. 26, to battle it out with the Lady Goats. It took all five sets before Teague came out victorious.
