The Fairfield Lady Eagles defeated Buffalo and Mexia this past week to move to 25-6 on the season and 7-0 in district play.
“Our district record of 7-0 right now is keeping us on track with one of our goals - to win a district championship and go undefeated through district play,” Coach Cathy Reeves said. “Every win builds confidence and prepares us for the pressure we will face heading into and progressing through the playoffs.”
Fairfield hosted Buffalo on Tuesday night, Sept. 30. It was parent night as well as senior night for the Lady Eagles. Fairfield won the first set 25-13 before Buffalo took the second set 2520. The Lady Eagles came back in the next two sets with big 25-10 and 25-8 wins for the home victory.
