Bi-Stone Cross-Country Teams Get in Last Minute Races Prior to the Start of District

The Groesbeck Goats cross-country team competed at the Pro-Fit Last Chance Invitational 2025 meet held on Thursday, October 2nd at Heritage Park in Belton. The varsity girls team finished ninth out of 22 teams, led by Khloe Marler taking 11th place with a time of 13:57.59. Finishing in the Top 40 was Clover Diaz with a time of 14:52.12.

The Goats varsity boys team finished in at No. 14 out of 22 teams competing, led by Diego Lopez, who placed in the Top 50. Lopez turned in a time of 20:07.21. In the Junior High meet held the day before, Groesbeck Middle School girls placed ninth out of 28 teams. GMS girls were led by Journi Janes fifth place finish, with a time of 14:12.7.

The GMS boys team placed 13th out of 28 teams at the meet. Mason Lenoir finished 28th with a time of 13:49.9 to lead the Groesbeck boys team.
