It’s time for district showdowns, big rivalry matchups, and chasing a chance to earn a playoff spot. All teams got some rest this past week, except for six-man teams. The muscles are healed, and it’s time to get back on the gridiron!
District 5-3A DI has an important week ahead, beginning with the West vs. Maypearl game. West enters in tied atop of the district overall at 4-1, with Grandview (4-1) – playing against 3-2 Whitney this Friday, and Groesbeck skips across the Navasota to play their neighbor, the Mexia Blackcats.
