Veterans Remembrance Park Teague (VRPT) has announced an exciting new opportunity as it joins Wreaths Across America for a second consecutive year. The national nonprofit organization’s mission is simple yet powerful: Remember the Fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach our youth the value of freedom.
In 2024, more than three million sponsored veterans’ wreaths were placed on headstones across 4,909 locations worldwide. Each wreath represents a heartfelt act of remembrance, with volunteers speaking the names of veterans aloud in honor of their sacrifice and service.
This year, VRPT is expanding its participation by offering sponsorships for wreaths honoring veterans buried in non-registered sites. Each wreath can be sponsored through the VRPT site for $17, and will be shipped together with other VRPT wreaths—saving participants on shipping costs.
