The Freestone County Soil & Water Conservation District #424 is very proud to honor Tyler Woodall as their State of Texas Junior Essay Winner for 2025. Tyler not only placed first in his school, Dew ISD, but first in the Area IV Award Contest. Each district is allowed to enter two essays in Area IV; there are five areas in the State of Texas. Those top winners go on to compete in the State of Texas competition. Tyler and his family joined over 700 District Directors and family at the 85th Annual Soil & Water District Directors meeting held in Kalahari, Round Rock, Sept. 28 - Oct. 1.
