The Fairfield High School cross country team traveled to Eustace on Friday, Sept. 20, to compete in its invitational meet. When all was said and done, the varsity girls finished second overall. Addison Shipley captured second; Madyn Mitchael, 13th; Madison Russell, 14th; Bella Campise, 23rd; Kaylee Williams, 29th; and Zada Pjetrovic, 32nd.
In the varsity boys division, John Kuzmich grabbed fourth; Collen Loviette, 15th; Noah Hoskins, 30th; and Christian Sanchez, 49th.
The JV girls finished second overall as well. Anna Allen placed ninth; Jhanvi Patel, 16th; Ambrlyn Wright, 17th; Lynette Portillo, 18th; and Trinity Glass, 26th.
