The Teague Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Parkfest on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Eighth Avenue City Park in Teague from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The BBQ cook-off will begin on Friday night, Oct. 24. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night. Categories include chicken, ribs, brisket, cooks choice, and jackpot beans. Buckles will be awarded for each category and overall winners. Cost is $200 per team. RV spots are available for $35.
There will be a Parkfest Cornhole Tournament on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. as well. The Freestone County Area Go-Texan committee is hosting the event.
