Wow! If you thought Battle of the River week was exciting, the scores that came in from this past Friday night’s games were unbelievable. Probably the biggest thrill was Coolidge knocking off Abbott, and Wortham picking up their first win of the year, via shutout style over Meridian. That’s what I’m talking about!
This week may reveal even more surprises as teams are smack dab in the middle of district play. Next week, we might have a little more insight as to who could snag a playoff spot, but, we’ll just have to wait and see as the old saying goes.
