The Teague Lady Lions defeated Groesbeck and Elkhart this past week to finish second place in district play with a 9-3 district record. The Lady Lions have an overall record of 21-8 entering the playoffs.
“I am extremely proud of my girls for finishing second place in district and making the playoffs,” Coach Ashley Hiles said.
On Tuesday night, Oct. 21, Teague played Groesbeck and won in four set. The Lady Lions took the first two sets 25-15 and 2519. The Lady Goats won the third set 26-24. Teague came back in the fourth set with a 25-16 win for the victory.
