The Teague Lions upset the undefeated Westwood Panthers on Friday night, Oct. 24, 42-20. The Lions move to 1-2 in district play and 4-4 overall.
“I am so proud of our kids and coaches for the plan they put together and the effort and energy we played with on Friday night,” Coach Zachary Linscomb said. “It was a very special night in Teague, TX.”
The Lions had 231 rushing yards. Ny’land Coaster had 165 yards, Jaden Cole 44 yards, Garrett Winkler 18 yards, and Mario Cuevas 4 yards.
