“The guys got up to play Diboll,” Coach John Bachtel said. “I was really excited about how we started the game. Diboll dropped a lot of guys into coverage and the offensive lineman had a good night opening holes for our running backs. The defense played lights out and we won the turnover battle again. It was a good night for Fairfield football.”
Fairfield had 330 rushing yards on the night. Jason Brackens led the way with 166 yards, Khamarion Ingram had 105 yards, Kohl Collins 28 yards, Kyden Rodriguez 27 yards, and Finn Smith 4 yards.
The Eagles had 91 receiving yards during the game. Smith led the way with 73 yards. Connor Colvert had 10 yards, and Kavion Hicks 8 yards.
