The Teague Lions traveled to Diboll on Friday, Nov. 7, to take on the Lumberjacks. A win would allow the Lions to finish in second place in district play and advance to the playoffs. A loss would end the Lions’ season with a fifth place finish.
When all was said and done, Teague came up short in a 23-13 loss to Diboll to end their season.
The Lions finished the year 5-5 overall and had a 2-3 district record. Teague defeated state-ranked Westwood earlier in the season 42-20.
