The Fairfield Eagles defeated the Crockett Bulldogs 55-21 on Friday night, Nov. 7, to wrap up district play before the playoffs. The Eagles enter the playoffs with an overall record of 10-0.
“I’m proud of the way the guys came out fast against Crockett,” Coach John Bachtel said. “Crockett was trying to control their own destiny and make the playoffs. We played bend, but didn’t break defense and moved the ball up and down the field on offense.”
Fairfield had 220 rushing yards. Kyden Rodrigiez led the way with 108 yards. Khamrion Ingram had 103 yards and Landon Washington 9 yards.
