Wow, we are already in November!
Our lunches from Fairfield have been delicious. Thank you to all the cooks who work so hard to provide not only delicious hot meals for our centers but also for our homebound participants. A special thanks to Debbie Tugwell for the bag of blackout Bingo gifts; she has a talent for shopping for our prizes, and we truly appreciate her donation. I also want to thank Debbie for rescuing me last Wednesday by delivering meals on an extra day due to the absence of volunteers. I called everyone who could have filled in, and I even had a lastminute cancellation on the Bingo caller.
Thank you to Erin at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab for sponsoring our Bingo last Wednesday with an incredible assortment of prizes. She is as lovely as she is hardworking and dedicated. Thanks also to Sonya for helping set up Bingo. She volunteers at the Lord’s Storehouse and texted that she would be late, but she arrived right on time. I was relieved to see her!
