The Teague ISD school board agreed to partner with Texas Kids Nutrition at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18. All board members were present.
Teague ISD has 65% of its students labeled as economically disadvantaged which allows them to qualify for the program. The program will allow students as well as siblings under the age of 18 to get a free meal for dinner. The program is through a Texas Agricultural grant and costs TISD zero dollars. There will be more information released to students when the program begins.
TISD Superintendent Chris Skinner honored Itzel Trejo as the All Star Recognition of the Month. Ashley Hiles was recognized as the November Teacher of the Month and Brent Holmes as the November Administrator of the Month.
