On Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2:27 p.m., Teague officers responded to an unwanted person at the Freestone Mobile Home Park. Officers initiated an investigation into the matter and found Audrey Gill, was subject of the unwanted person report.
Pursuant the investigation Officers arrested Gill and charged her with: 1.) Resisting Arrest, Search, Transport, 2.) Assault on a Peace Officer, 3.) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) Residents declined to pursue trespass charges. Gill was booked into the Freestone County Jail.
We are grateful the officer involved was not seriously injured and was able to remain on duty.
