The Fairfield Lady Eagles went 4-1 in the Athens Tournament over the weekend to claim second place. The Lady Eagles move to 9-1 on the season. Kaylee Williams won the threepoint contest during the tournament.
On Tuesday, Dec. 2, Fairfield traveled to Bullard and defeated the Lady Panthers 71-43. Blayke Brackens led the way with 19 points. Kole Brackens added 16 points, KeKe Alexander 14, Jacelynn Schmidt 9, KK Forge 8, Kaylee Williams 5, and Delaney McGowan 1.
The Lady Eagles defeated Rusk 91-5 and Jacksonville 41-33 on Thursday. Fairfield knocked-off Kilgore 69-40 on Friday. The Lady Eagles defeated Malakoff 49--31 on Saturday to advance to the Championship game against Whitehouse. Fairfield fell to Whitehouse by four, 43-39, for their first loss of the season.
