As part of National Rural Health Day, Nov. 20, Parkview Regional Hospital announced that it has earned two 2025 Performance Leadership Awards for excellence in quality and in patient perspective. Compiled by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards program recognizes topquartile performance — the 75th percentile or above — among rural hospitals in quality, outcomes and/or patient perspective.
Parkview Regional was one of only eight hospitals in Texas to earn both of these honors from Chartis.
“Parkview Regional is thrilled to earn 2025 Performance Leadership Awards from Chartis, a healthcare consultant with extensive expertise in rural hospitals,” said Doug Holzbog, market CEO for Parkview Regional. “Performing in the top quartile in two of the three areas assessed — quality and patient experience — is a testament to our team and their commitment to serving those in the Mexia area who come to us for their healthcare needs.”
