On Wednesday, Nov. 26, Freestone County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Allen was dispatched to a theft call on CR 685 where approximately $20,000 of aluminum pipe had been stolen. After a short follow-up by Deputy Allen, she learned where the pipe had been sold and who sold it.
A short time later information came in that the guy who sold the aluminum pipe was back.
Lt. Darby, Sgt. Hill, and Deputy Allen responded to the location and made contact with male subject. It was all downhill from there for him and his Thanksgiving plans.
