YVONNE LEE O LIVER
Visitation for Yvonne Lee Oliver, age 52, was held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. At 11:00 a.m. a funeral procession departed the funeral home and traveled to Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin for a graveside service. Bro. Walter Pickens officiated.
Ms. Oliver passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
She was born in Baytown on July 10, 1973, but grew up in Fairfield. Yvonne graduated from Fairfield High School with the class of 1991, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas A&M University. She was currently working on her Masters of Nursing and Administration. Yvonne worked as a case manager for the Mexia State Supported Living Center and also worked on weekends for the Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a Baptist by Faith.
She is survived by one son, Hunter Lee Brooke of Crane; her parents, Robert & Doris Oliver of Streetman; one sister, Veronica Harris & husband Mike of Teague; two aunts, Shirley Mays of Streetman and Virgina Terry of Lubbock; one nephew, Zachery Harris; one niece, Hayley Bowers & husband Bryce; other relatives and friends.
Ms. Oliver was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben & Dolores Callaway and one nephew, Matthew Harris.
