The Fairfield Lady Eagles went 5-0 this past week, winning their own tournament. Fairfield moves to 141 on the season.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Fairfield traveled to Teague to take on the Lady Lions in their district opener. The Lady Eagles came out on top with a huge 69-18 victory. Kaylee Williams led the way with 19 points. KeKe Alexander added 18 points, Blayke Brackens and KK Forge 12 each, Jacelynn Schmidt 4, Kole Brackens 3, and Rhett Ralstin 2.
Fairfield played Wimberley on Thursday, Dec. 11, in the tournament and won 65-29. B. Brackens led the way with 14 points. Alexander added 10 points, Williams and Forge 9 each, K. Brackens and Schmidt 7 a piece, Dalaney McGowan 5, and Samayah Wiley and Ralstin 2 each.
