The Teague Lions defeated the Buffalo Bison on Friday night, Dec. 19, in their district opener 62-52. The Lions move to 7-4 overall and 1-0 in district play.
On Tuesday night, Teague hosted Normangee and fell to the Panthers 62-52.
The Lions will compete in the Kawians Navarro College Tournament December 29-31. Teague will resume district play on Tuesday night, Jan. 6, at home against the Groesbeck Goats at 7:30 p.m.
