The Fairfield Lady Eagles defeated Buffalo and Groesbeck this past week to move to 3-0 in district play and 16-1 overall.
Fairfield (#1) hosted Buffalo (#3) on Tuesday night, Dec. 16. The game was neck to neck. The Lady Eagles led 29-23 going into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Bison scored six points to tie the game at 29 with 4:58 left in the game. Fairfield would go on an 11-0 run to end the game and take a 40-29 home win.
