FISD Presented Schematic Design for New FHS

The Fairfield ISD school board met on Monday night, Dec. 15, and honored students for their accomplishments over the past couple of months. The board was also presented with another presentation of the schematic design for the new Fairfield High School.

“The architects, Claycomb Associates, have done a wonderful job of working with us on the schematic design of the new high school,” FISD Superintendent Joe Craig said. “Each time we meet, they update the design based on our previous conversations. We are getting very close to the finished version and then we will start working on the finishing touches on the inside of the building in each department. They will be coming back on January 5th to have further meetings with high school staff members in the different departments to start talking about things specific to these spaces and how to make them work efficiently.”
