The Teague Lions competed in the Kawians Navarro College Tournament Dec. 29-31 and brought home the gold. Teague moves to 10-4 on the season and is 1-0 in district play.
The Lions defeated the Corsicana JV team 73-37 on Monday. On Tuesday, Teague won a nail-biter against the Rice Bulldogs by three, 54-51. The Lions played Blooming Grove in the Championship game on New Years Eve night and defeated the Lions 79-57 to bring home the gold.
Teague hosted Groesbeck on Tuesday night, Jan. 6. The Lions have a bye on Friday night, Jan. 9, before hosting the Mexia Blackcats next Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m.
