The Fairfield Eagles went 3-1 in the Houston County Holiday Classic Tournament on Dec. 29-30. The Eagles move to 12-3 overall and 1-0 in district play.
“I am proud of the guys. We didn’t always play our best but the guys found ways to be successful which is an undervalued trait to me in sports,” Coach Tyler Terry said. “We had a lot of guys step up and play well at different times. That is always encouraging for coaches to see too.”
Fairfield defeated Lindale 66-53 before falling to DaVinci 54-47 on Monday, Dec. 29.
