District play is back in action after the Christmas break. Teams are on the floor hustling as the second round of district play is nearing. Playoffs are just about a month away.

The Eagles (12-4, 1-1) fell to Mexia 81-79 in overtime on Friday night, Jan. 9. Keyshawn Turner led the way for the Eagles with 25 points. Madden McElroy added 19, Connor Colvert 14, Kohl Collins 12, Kavion Hicks 4, Davonte Alexander 3, and Jeremy Brackens 2.
