Citizens Speak at Commissioners Court Concerning Solar Farm

Multiple citizens voiced their concerns about the solar farms coming to Freestone County at the Wednesday, Jan. 7, Freestone County Commissioners Court meeting. Their concerns are that the solar farms are dangerous, harmful, and devalues properties.

Piedra Solar, LLC is a planned 282 MW solar generation project in Freestone County, Texas, developed by TotalEnergies. The project is situated at the 2777 Cotton Gin Area, with boundaries spanning along Farm-to-Market (FM) roads 1365 and 901.
